Girls do not dress for boys. They dress for themselves and, of course, each other. If girls dressed for boys they’d just walk around naked at all times.

Where We Went: Dannijo’s Showroom
I’ve visited my fair share of showrooms, and not to play favorites, but Dannijo hands-down has one of the most unique spaces I’ve ever seen. The exposed brick loft functions as both an office and display area, and it looks like the lavish Soho living room you never had. Framed oil paintings and old Dannijo fashion spreads line the walls, and on various shelves around the space lie mannequin heads bedecked with Dannijo’s current collections.
Danielle and Jodie Snyder, the sister design duo and co-founders of the brand, designed the space themselves. “We like to be inspired by where we work,” Jodie told me during my visit. “It’s an extension of us and our aesthetic.” The most eye-catching part for me were the mannequins stationed in the back of the studio adorned with layers of jewels. The Snyder’s call them “Dannijo fembots.” If Austin Powers ever makes a comeback…

Summertime is upon us, which means it’s time for ice cream! :) I mean, it’s always time for ice cream, but especially now.

When you add in strung white lights, mason jars filled with flowers, & a giant chalk board for a menu, you’ve got a winning combo - ice cream & ambience.
